Let’s unpack this fascinating clip. First we have a record of enough new species to keep a dozen Darwins busy for a decade. But then BLAMM!! things get all shock and awe with soldiers in body armor firing and taking refuge behind an armored vehicle. What are they firing at? We don’t know. Is it other armed humans? Or another kind of threat? There’s no clue. This is typical of the frustrating nature of these clips that drip-drip from the closed world that is the Zoo. We are intrigued, but we don’t have answers to our questions.
